The conference of our Freedom Combination Foundation on the importance of social media took place. A large number of guests attended the introductory program held in Amsterdam.
Nearly 200 volunteers were present at the introductory program, where our volunteer representatives from all provinces of the Netherlands attended. The flow of the promotional program was as follows:
In the program, the victims of the persecutions in Turkey showed how great the persecutions were. Suleyman Eroglu, one of the victims, talked about the persecutions committed by the AKP regime in Turkey in Amsterdam with the organization of our foundation. He emphasized the importance of social media.
Speaking at our foundation's conference on the importance of social media, Ceyda Eroglu said, "A tweet gives hope to the victimized people. I am the best example of this. If I am among you today, it is as a result of the effective sharing on social media."
Hacer Yıldız, in her speech at the organization, said that she announced the strip search, which was hidden by the AKP regime in Turkey, to the whole world through social media.
Speaking at the event organized by our foundation in Amsterdam, Tülay Açıkkollu, the widow of Gökhan Açıkkollu, who lost his life under torture while in custody, said, "Persecution continues in Turkey with the AKP regime. It is necessary to make an effort to announce this persecution to everyone."
In his presentation, our coordinator, Mr. Mustafa, said, "In the age of development and technology, it has become obligatory for each of us to have an account on at least one social media platform. Social media channels that we use for both work and our personal desires have become one of the most important necessities of our lives. Some of the main reasons why social media applications are so active and widespread are that they make people's lives easier. As Freedom Combination Foundation, we are trying to be the voice of the victims and give them hope by utilizing the power of social media. We will continue to announce victimization all over the world through our volunteer representatives in all provinces of the Netherlands."
Our program lasted about four hours and ended with a collective photo shoot. You can follow the work of our foundation on Twitter and on the website
